Wow, I have been associated with my first Women's Wear Daily article this autumn...!

The Fashion Design Forum Awards were ultimately highlighted in a Women's Wear Daily article, September 5, 2006 on page 12, written by Conde Nast journalist Mengly Taing and printed above the Oscar de la Renta story.

Members of the judging panel, the contestants, organizers and champions of the annual awards were invited to submit biographies or conduct interviews with a stylish young journalist from WWD.

After all of the positive publicity from WWD, Marcus the creator of the annual design awards competition the Fashion Design Forum Awards approached me about creating a weekly series of design contests, I expressed a longtime interest in creating a competitive series that would rival the variety of challenges hosted on The Fashion Spot and Project Fashion Designers Forum was born.
